Content problem — one of 20 documented failure codes the publishing engine can emit, rendered from the same catalog the publishing service uses.
- What it means
- The platform rejected this post. Review the content and platform requirements before retrying.
- Is it retryable?
- Only after you change the content. The platform rejected what was sent, so retrying it unchanged will fail the same way every time.
- What Publishly does
- Records the failure against the post with the code provider_rejected_content.
- Fires a signed post.failure webhook carrying the class, code, reason & whether Publishly will retry.
- Surfaces the reason above directly on the post, so you never have to guess what happened.
- What you should do
- Open the post and compare it against the reason above.
- Edit the media, caption, or settings the platform rejected.
- Save your changes and retry.
